Transportation Project Development Process
The Project Team is following PENNDOT's Ten-Step process in the development of the U.S. 219 Improvements Project. Various innovative techniques, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, visualization technology, computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) technology, and partnering, are being used to develop and analyze alternatives and as part of the public involvement process.
