Environmental Resources

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires that impacts to environmental resources inclusive of natural, socio-economic, and cultural resources be considered when major projects are being proposed. Critical resources in the study area include:Picture showing existing roadway

  • State Game Lands No. 50
  • Streams and Cold Water Fisheries
  • Wetlands
  • Historic Structures
  • Archaeological Resources
  • Forested areas

Click on the individual link (the menu bar on the left) that you are interested in to learn the latest on environmental studies and investigations currently being conducted, findings such as a threatened and endangered species habitat or evidence of an archaeological site, and other environmental points of interest.
